In the years I have worked with Janet, the training I commissioned was always of a high standard. Participants enjoyed the courses; they increased their knowledge and were able to implement their learning into their working practice. The feedback from participants was positive and demand for the sexual health course is high. Janet is an extremely competent and well organised trainer; the delivery is professional and interactive. In 2005 there were few people delivering this type of training, there are still only a few today. I have confidence that any board or individual commissioning these sexual health courses for professionals or non-professional will find that they will run successfully.

I have known Janet for several years we first worked together in consultation during the final stages of the Caring for people the sexually transmitted infections module. Janet is knowledgeable in her chosen area of practice. She is enthusiastic and passionate about sharing her knowledge with others. Janet and her team have developed innovative and interactive training to suit professionals and non professionals develop and improve their knowledge and skills in relation to sexual health issues. I also worked with Janet in 2003 when as a post graduate student she demonstrated her ability to learn and assimilate new knowledge. Janet is keen to share her specialist knowledge and teach others and achieves this through her sexual health courses and when she is a visiting speaker at the university. I have always found Janet to be pleasant, resourceful, willing to help and she demonstrates integrity in her approach everything she does. I wish Janet every success for the future.
